The fastest way to get perfect stair stringer cuts

This is a great way to avoid the hassle of using a jigsaw or other cutting tool, and it also gives you more control over the cuts. The best thing about using a stair stringer attachment is that it is very versatile and can be used on any type of staircase. If you have a lot of stairs to cut, then this attachment is definitely worth the investment. It will save you time and effort, and you will be able to get the perfect cuts every time.

There are a few things to keep in mind when using a stair stringer attachment for your circular saw. First, make sure that the blade is sharp and that the teeth are facing the right direction. This will help to prevent the Attachments from becoming jammed in the teeth. Next, be sure to use a stable platform when cutting the stairs. A good way to do this is to use a piece of plywood or a solid surface that is level. This will help to keep the attachment from wobbling around during the cut.

How to cut stair stringers

  1. Set the depth of cut on your saw. For most applications, you will want to set the depth of cut to about 1/4 inch (6 mm). This will ensure that you get a clean, even cut.
  2. Place the stair stringer attachment onto the base of the saw. Make sure that the teeth are facing the right direction.
  3. Line up the attachment with the mark that you made on the stringer.
  4. Slowly and carefully guide the saw along the length of the stringer. Be sure to keep the saw level so that you get a clean, even cut.
  5. Repeat steps 3-4 until all of the stringers have been cut.

How to measure and mark the stringer for cutting

Measure the width of the staircase. This will give you the length of the stringer.

  • Mark the stringer at the appropriate length.
  • Use a tape measure to mark the depth of cut on the stringer. For most applications, you will want to set the depth of cut to about 1/4 inch (6 mm).
  • Mark the stringer at the appropriate depth.
  • Use a pencil to connect the marks that you made on the stringer. This will give you a cutting line.
